ProLon Fasting Mimicking Diet

ProLon FMD Diet

The ProLon Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) is a 5-day diet that mimics a fast but includes certain foods that promote the same benefits as fasting. FMD is a plant-based, whole foods diet that contains a box of food for each of the 5 days on the fast. The calories are higher in the beginning and taper down so you can adjust to less calories slowly. This is a much easier way to get the benefits of fasting without starvation of a typical fasting diet.

Some of the benefits of the FMD are reducing excess fat, promoting stem cell-based rejuvenation, triggering apoptosis and autophagy, improving energy, and helping to maintain healthy levels of fasting blood glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, C-reactive protein, and blood pressure.
