Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of products in the name of health — some worth it, some not.
This page is my running list of what actually earned a permanent spot in my life. As a board-certified nutritionist, I only recommend what I’ve personally used or thoroughly researched for my clients.
I partner with a few brands I genuinely trust and use myself — if you shop through those links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Full disclosure.

❤️ My Go-To Favorites
Beyond my Fullscript dispensary and Amazon storefront, these are the individual products I keep coming back to — the ones I’ve used long enough to trust myself and often recommend to clients too. A mix of books, everyday staples, and a few tools that made a real difference.
📚 Books
PlantYou by Carleigh Bodrug
Uses real, realistic grocery-store ingredients — no hard-to-find specialty items. This is the one I hand to anyone just starting out on a plant-based diet.
Be a Plant-Based Woman Warrior by Jane Esselstyn & Ann Esselstyn
Delicious, family-friendly recipes that don’t demand hours in the kitchen. And really, who doesn’t love Jane and Ann?
Mastering Diabetes by Cyrus Khambatta & Robby Barbaro
A clear, evidence-based explanation of why carbs aren’t the enemy — and how a plant-based diet can actually help reverse diabetes.
Eat for Life by Dr. Joel Fuhrman
One of the best plant-based nutrition books out there, written by a physician. It doesn’t eliminate fat – it teaches you how to include the right kind. I’ve had the most success with Dr. Fuhrman’s Nutritarian Diet.
🥗 Food
True Leaf Market Organic Broccoli Sprouting Seeds
My #1 essential food. The seed I always include in my weekly sprouting routine — certified organic and ready to harvest in just 4-6 days. Broccoli sprouts pack up to 50x more nutrients than mature broccoli, without the added calories. I also keep alfalfa, radish, and mung bean seeds on rotation from the same shop. If you want extra protein, check out the Protein Powerhouse Mix.
Purple Carrot
The meal kit service I point clients to when they want to eat more plants but don’t know where to start. Every single recipe is 100% plant-based – no sorting through a menu to find the vegan option — with pre-portioned ingredients and chef-designed recipes that make cooking feel approachable rather than intimidating. Great for anyone easing into a plant-based diet or just wanting to break out of a recipe rut.
Thrive Market
My go-to for stocking up on plant-based pantry staples – organic, non-GMO products at better prices than most grocery stores, delivered right to your door. It’s where I find the specialty items that aren’t always easy to track down locally.
Lark Ellen Farm Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds
A small swap that makes a real difference – sprouting reduces the phytic acid that can block mineral absorption, so you get more usable minerals! Lark Ellen Farm got its start when the founder began experimenting with sprouted foods in her own kitchen and started selling her creations at the farmer’s. Now they soak and sprout every batch before air-crisping. My favorite topper for salads and oatmeal.
🥣 Kitchen Tools
Sprouting Jar Kit
I make at least four jars of sprouts a week — broccoli, alfalfa, radish, and mung beans are my go-tos, and this is the kit I actually use. Sprouts are incredibly nutrient- and protein-dense for so few calories, and broccoli sprouts specifically are concentrated with sulforaphane, a compound researched for its cancer-protective potential. Stainless steel mesh lids (not plastic) make daily rinsing simple.
Blendtec Blender
Mine is 15 years old and still going strong. It’s also a countertop workhorse in the truest sense: powerful enough to handle anything I throw at it yet compact enough to fit right under my cabinets. Great for smoothies and sauces. If you’re investing in one high-power blender for life, this is it.
Instant Pot
Genuinely one of the most useful tools for plant-based cooking. Dried beans and legumes – no soaking required – cook perfectly in under an hour, which means fewer canned beans and more control over sodium and ingredients. It’s also my go-to for batch-cooking grains, soups, and stews on busy weeks. Lately I’ve been using it to make my own soy yogurt. Bonus – the yogurt setting is also good to proof bread.
Tofu Bud Tofu Press
Avoid soggy, tasteless tofu by pressing it first! This press uses a spring system with drainage holes on both the top and bottom, so it presses evenly in about 20 minutes with zero hands-on effort — just set it and walk away. It’s made a real difference in how well my tofu crisps up and absorbs marinade.
KitchenAid Food Processor
A true workhorse for plant-based prep – I use mine constantly for hummus, salsa, plant-based burgers, cauliflower rice, shredded carrots, and homemade falafel. It takes recipes that would take forever to chop or mash by hand and turns them into a few pulses.
Our Place Wonder Oven (air fryer)
Most air fryers rely on nonstick coatings that can degrade with scratches and heat over time – this one skips that risk almost entirely. The basket, wire rack, and interior are all stainless steel, so your food never touches a coating at all. It’s my pick for anyone who wants crispy, air-fried food without wondering what might be leaching into it. There are two size, small and large for all size families.
🏡 Healthy Home
AirDoctor Air Purifier
I use this daily – between my asthma and having pets at home, air quality isn’t optional for me. Most air purifiers only filter particles, but this one goes further: its UltraHEPA filtration captures particles 100x smaller than a standard HEPA filter, and the built-in carbon filter also removes VOCs and toxic gases (think formaldehyde off-gassing from furniture and flooring) that regular HEPA filters simply can’t touch. If you deal with allergies, asthma, or pet dander in your home, this is the one I trust.
Epic Water Filters Smart Shield
My pick for under-sink filtration. It’s certified to three separate NSF/ANSI standards (42, 53, and 401) – more than most under-sink filters offer – covering everything from chlorine and heavy metals to emerging contaminants like PFAS. Direct-connect installation, no water wasted, and it’s a small U.S.-based company.
Glass Food Storage Set
My full switch away from plastic. Borosilicate glass containers with airtight, leak-proof silicone-sealed lids, built-in steam vents for easy reheating, and nesting design for compact storage. Microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe.
🧘 Lifestyle Tools
Oura Ring
Available through my Fullscript dispensary with an exclusive discount. I recommend this to clients who want real data on sleep quality, recovery, and HRV – it’s the wearable I trust most for turning collecting health data you can actually act on.
Mirabella Phototherapy Mask
Also available through Fullscript (with special pricing). An FDA-cleared, clinical-grade LED mask that matches the light output of masks costing three times as much – seven light modes plus near-infrared, all in one device. My pick if you’re looking to add red light therapy to your routine without the premium price tag.
Dynamic Saunas Elite 1-Person Infrared Sauna with Red Light Therapy
My at-home recovery tool. It uses 4 Carbon PureTech ultra-low EMF heating panels, so you get the deep, detoxifying benefits of FAR infrared heat without the higher EMF exposure that cheaper saunas often carry – genuinely important if you’re mindful about EMF, not just marketing language. It also includes built-in red light therapy and chromotherapy lighting, so you’re getting two wellness tools in one compact unit that fits into a spare room or closet. Pacific cedar construction with a tempered glass door keeps it looking classy.
🧴 Personal Care
ATTITUDE Shampoo & Conditioner
EWG Verified – meaning the formulation has been independently reviewed against EWG’s strict health and safety criteria, not just self-declared “clean.” Naturally derived, vegan, plant-based ingredients, free from silicones and SLES. My go-to hair care duo.
Each & Every Natural Deodorant
Aluminum-free, EWG Verified, and made with just a handful of clean ingredients — Dead Sea salt, essential oils, and coconut oil, instead of baking soda, which is one of the most common causes of underarm irritation in natural deodorants. Genuinely effective odor protection without the ingredients I steer clients away from.
💄 Skincare & Makeup
Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara
Vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without fragrance, parabens, or common allergens – free of the ingredients most likely to cause sensitivity or irritation. Worth noting not every Thrive Causemetics product carries the same clean profile, so this specific formula is the one I’m recommending, not the whole brand.
😴 Sleep
Organic Linen Eye Sleep Mask
100% organic linen, Oeko-TEX certified – independently tested and verified free of harmful substances, not just labeled “natural.” Oversized with an ergonomic shape for full light-blocking without pressure on your eyes. Breathable, hypoallergenic, and genuinely comfortable for a full night’s sleep.
Designs for Health Magnesium Glycinate Complex
The magnesium form I recommend most for sleep support. TRAACS® chelated magnesium bisglycinate is highly absorbable and gentle on digestion – unlike oxide or citrate forms, which can cause GI upset. Glycine also has a natural calming effect, making this form especially well-suited for sleep and stress support.
Baloo Weighted Blanket
One of the only weighted blankets made with 100% cotton throughout – including the lining, where most brands hide polyester. It’s filled with lead-free glass microbeads instead of plastic poly-pellets, and OEKO-TEX certified free of over 100 harmful substances. The gentle, even pressure is genuinely calming, and a simple, drug-free way to support deeper, more restful sleep.
